Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the latter does not convey the richness and reliefs of the impasto. The edges of the canvas are covered by tapes. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The stretcher is not the original one. Upon very close inspection, some hairline stabilized cracks are visible in the dark green area in the lower edge, in the yellow impastos near the center of the composition and in the darker blue area in the lower left quadrant. There are two small holes located in the middle of the left edge, visible under close inspection. Under UV light inspection, few small dots of retouching fluoresce near the lower edge in the center. This work is in good condition.
