Description

  • height 4 in.;10.2 cm
each of cylindrical form rising to a square mouth, decorated with grasses painted in caramel-colored iron brown against a crackled cream glaze. 5 pieces.

Condition

Each bowl has minor expected wear, including small chips to the foot, and some have rim cracks (some possibly from firing); as well as minor manufacturing imperfections (particularly pitting to the well). One has a patched restoration to the rim (length approx. 3 cm).
