Condition

The board appears to be sound. The collaged elements appear securely adhered, although there is some very minor lifting in the lower two corners of the central collaged composition, and to the left and right of this area. There is some further, minor lifting in the green glittery section, towards the upper and right edges. The sheet comprising the principal collaged area is slightly unevenly cut along the right and upper edges. There is a small diagonal crack to the glittery surface towards the lower edge. There are some further small cracks in the lower section of the glittery surface. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in the thicker areas of green gouache in the centre of the work, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There is some surface dirt in places, predominantly in the glittery area. There is some extremely faint discolouration visible around the extreme edges. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
