Condition

Overall very good condition. The glass with some scattered small air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The applied neck with a very small air bubble that is open to the surface. The glass with some scattered extremely minor surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling, not visually detractive. The wave decoration on the iridized collar is masterfully articulated with finely controlled decoration. The interior is cased with white opaque glass to enhance the richness and depth of the blue tone on the exterior. An exceptional example of the form executed in deeply saturated ultramarine. When viewed in person, the saturation and richness of color is highly impressive, and not fully captured in the catalogue photography.
