Condition

Overall in good condition. The leather is original and presents with a slightly more cherry-red hue than in the catalogue illustration. The leather surfaces with signs of wear, scuffs, scratches, nicks and rubbing, consistent with age and gentle use. The surface of the top tier with a concentrated abrasion to the leather measuring approximately 3 ½ x ¾ in as well as minute area of discoloration, as is slightly visible in the catalogue illustration. The wood surfaces with scattered scuffs, nicks and scratches, largely concentrated to the feet and all consistent with age and use. The brass tacks with some minor surface scratches and areas of rubbing, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use. A creative form with Molesworth's characteristic half-pole detailing and vibrant leather, the table presents well overall.
