Condition
very thin canvas; the panel on which the canvas has been mounted is slit from top to bottom vertically. This slit has created a very long craquelure across the surface vertically on the right of the face, across the flaps of the jacket (visible in the catalogue in the lower end); the craquelure has been restored in some places in the lower end and the sky; some little repainted areas along the edges and scattered across the surface; some tiny repainted areas hardly visible under UV light in the neck and the cheek; very good overall condition
