Condition

The measurements are approximate, as it is not a regular shape, the sides are not flat, and the whole basket tilts backwards when lying flat. It does not stand up alone due to present shape. Wicker is in good condition, and well woven. The edging to the lid, is in distressed condition on the corners and in some of the sections between the crossed plaiting. It is not lined internally. The small metal attachment to turn across the horizontal to lock it in place, is missing, and therefore one side cannot be secured closed.
