  • Height 19 1/2  in., 50 cm
modeled with a full face, pendulous earlobes, and peacefully downcast eyes, the hair swept high into a garlanded topknot fronted by a standing Amitabha flanked by attendants, with applied sancai glaze accents

Condition

There is wear overall and fritting along edges with glazed decoration. There are small chips and losses to extremities such as the top knots of the apsaras. It is possible that there are some areas of the sculpture's top knot with minor restoration and that some the black pigment has been refreshed.
