each figure standing with arms folded within wide sleeves, and wearing long, crisply draped amber and green-glazed robes, the female with hair in a high chignon secured with a diadem, holding a basin, the male wearing a tall official's hat, bearing a tablet, all supported on a waisted hexagonal base (2)

Condition

Male figure: the head had been broken off from the neck and reattached showing signs of restoration. An area of kiln crack of approximately 8 1/4 inches long and 2 5/8 inches wide to the clay body is visible to the right side. Three back corners of the platform are chipped and another chip to the back corner of the base. Female figure: the head had been broken off from the neck and reattached showing signs of restoration. Several kiln cracks to the clay body visible throughout.
