Condition

The owl has cracks to the head and to the body near the proper left wing (possibly from firing), scattered flakes, and minor losses. The buffalo has darker clay along the top, sides, and backside (as illustrated) possibly with associated restoration. The beast has traces of pigments and minor frits and small losses and possible restoration.
