Description

  • Height 25 3/8  in., 64.5 cm; Widht 15 1/4  in., 38.7 cm; Depth 7 1/2  in., 19 cm
the rectangular frame with square corners, inset on three sides with well carved panels, each enclosing a writhing dragon amid swirling clouds, a pair of doors to the front, the interior fitted with a shelf above two drawers and a covered storage well, the conforming upper section similarly constructed, the interior plain, all supported on four gilt mounted short legs joined by cloud-scroll spandreled aprons

Condition

The cabinet with some scattered nicks, very fine splitting, and wear consistent with age and use. There has been some consolidation to the joinery, possible replacements to the interior and the hinges securing the lower pair of doors are loose and need to be stabilized. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
