Description

  • Diameter 6 1/2  in., 16.5 cm
of cylindrical form with a lipped rim and stepped base, and sides carved with leafing stalks of bamboo accompanied by an inscription

Condition

The inscription and carving on the surface are later added. The brushpot with small chips and splits at the rims some of which have patched or filled repairs. There is wear to the surface overall consistent with age and use. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
