the slightly flared vessel carved to resemble two segments of bamboo with attendant leafy branches, the densely grained wood patinated to a dark reddish-brown tone

Condition

The brushpot is in good overall condition with minor chips to rims and edges, a some characteristic splitting at rims and base and wear overall consistent with age and use.
