Condition

The bottom edge is uneven and there is a loss to the paper in the centre. There are pinholes in all four corners with further pinholes in the centre of the top edge and on the right side of the bottom edge. Edges and corners show wear. There are several nicks with minor associated paint loss above the bottom edge. There is minor creasing in places, notable to the top of the sitter's head. There is a layer of surface dirt with handling marks in places. The sheet is hinged to the mount at the top corners. Held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
