Surrounded by the magical world of toys from early childhood and inspired by Russian folk art, the artist developed a distinctive style populated by fantastic characters. He moved to New York in 1989 where he was represented by Eduard Nakhamkin Gallery.

Condition

The board appears sound. There is a layer of light surface dirt. There is a chip to the sky in the upper left edge with associated paint loss. There is a small area of media staining in the lower right area of the two small figures. Held in a blue and white original painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
