Condition

Trimmed just within the plate mark (fractionally within the subject below), in good condition, with pale grey wash in the densely hatched areas, touched in with pen and ink where the subject's turban meets his cheekbone, in the fold of his cloak at the neck and in the dimple of his cheek, a small fox mark at the lower sheet edge at left, framed.
