While this photograph has not been examined out of is frame, it appears to be in generally excellent condition. As is common with Peter Beard's photographs and as a result of his working process, there are a few creases, faint surface scratches, edge-wear, and a generally uneven surface that likely occurred during the creation of this object. When examined in raking light, a few very small areas of silvering are visible on 2 of the collaged photographs. The annotations on the image read 'for The End of the Game - Last Word from Paradise' and 'Hog Ranch Box 4191 Nairobi, Kenya, E. A.'
