  • 9 5/8  by 7 3/4  in. (24.4 by 19.7 cm.)
numbered '111' in the negative, the photographer's '50 commerce st., new york city' studio and Federal Art Project 'Changing New York' stamps and with title, date, and annotations in pencil on the reverse, 1936 (Steidl, Vol. II, p. 127)

Condition

This early, slightly warm-toned print, on double-weight paper with a faint surface sheen and pebbled texture, is in generally excellent condition. The margin edges and tips of the corners are slightly rubbed and intermittently chipped. There are small clamp impressions from processing at each corner. None of these minor issues affects the overall fine appearance of the print. The annotations in pencil on the reverse read 'Neg. III Code II A2fa,' and 'p1295.'
