This early print, on double-weight paper with an eggshell surface, is in generally very good to excellent condition. There are some soft handling creases, primarily in the left portion of the image, none of which appear to break the emulsion. There are deposits of original retouching in the upper right corner of the image.
The margins are faintly age-darkened and soiled, and the margin corners are slightly worn. There is minor soiling on the reverse.
When examined under ultraviolet light, the photograph does not appear to fluoresce.
