Provenance

Kicken Gallery, Berlin

Condition

This delicate bromoil transfer print on tissue is in generally excellent condition. The darks are a deep brown and the highlights are creamy and nuanced; both the darks and the highlights retain a high level of detail. There is a one-1/4-inch linear impression in the lower portion of the image which is only visible upon extremely close inspection. As is often seen in Kühn's prints, the margin edges are unevenly trimmed. The upper margin corners and a small area at the center of the lower margin edge are darkened. 'XXXX' is written in pencil in an unidentified hand in the left margin.
