Description

molded in relief around the sides with a group of cranes amongst pine trees and cherry blossoms, the whole raised on three attendants and mounted with a metal tap, the domed cover pierced

Condition

The coffee pot is in good condition with the exception of some minor wear to the gilded decoration and minor glaze firing imperfections. The matched cover is broken and restored with associated area of losses measuring max. approximately 1.6 cm wide, there is a small chip to the top of the finial.
