Condition

The sheet is fully laid down to a backing sheet of card that is in turn fully adhered to a backing mount. There are pinholes to all four corners and two along the upper edge, with a small associated vertical tear to the centre of the upper edge. There is a further smaller vertical tear to the extreme lower edge to the right of centre, with one or two possible further very minor instances elsewhere. There is some light creasing to the lower right quadrant. There are incisions to the paper surface at the left edge, possibly in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There is an area of light staining to the sheet at the centre of the lower edge. There are handling marks to the edges of the sheet with some possible light scuffs. There is staining visible at the extreme edges of the sheet, possibly in line with a previous mount. There is surface dirt and instances of studio matter and detritus in places, and remnants of adhesive are evident across the mount, not visible in the present mount. This excepting, the work appears in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a wooden frame.
