Condition

The sculpture appears sound. The surface is pitted and uneven, in keeping with the Artist's intention. There is some very light rubbing to raised areas of the sculpture's torso, most evident to the back of the figure, with possible more minor instances of rubbing elsewhere. There is evidence of two small vertical casting imperfections to the back of the sculpture in the upper third. There is speckled light oxidisation to the sculpture, in keeping with the Artist's materials and technique. There are traces of casting residue and dirt to creviced areas. Subject to the above, the work appears in very good overall condition. The sculpture has an integral Artist's bronze base.
