Condition

The sheet has been laid down on to a supportive sheet, which has in turn been fully down on to a mounting card; this card is secured to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape in the upper corners. There is some old adhesive tape at the left edge of the mount. There are a number of damages to the sheet including areas of loss which have been stabilised by the supportive sheet. These are particularly prominent in the lower left corner, and at the upper left and lower edges. There are a number of nicks to the right edge of the sheet and one stabilised tear to the extreme lower right. There is some time fading apparent at the upper, right and lower edges, not visible in the present mount. There is some evidence of studio matter to the sheet. The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
