The work is in good condition overall as viewed. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges and corners of the work along with associated losses and abrasion close to frame. There are some paint losses near the middle of the right register (background area). Very gentle craquelures are found near the middle of the left register (next to hips area). Examination under ultraviolet light shows gentle touch ups on the dancer's face, wrist area holding the fan and on the side of her torso. However, this is not visible with the naked eye. Framed.
