Condition

Please note that this work is stretched, framed and the canvas is unlined. This work has not been examined outside of its frame. There appears to be a repaired tear measuring approximately 5cm. long to the right of the sitter's dictionary. There is what appears to be discoloured glue around the peripheries of the collaged dictionary page and some further discoloration to the surface of the page. There is also some very minor cracking along the framing edges of the work. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no signs or restoration or further repair. Overall the work appears to be in very good original condition.
