Description

Of tonneau design, applied with black, gold lacquer and red enamel, highlighted with rose diamonds, opening to reveal three compartments, one engraved V.E with a crown, the other set to one side with a mirror, the other with a pencil and writing board, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay mark for gold.

Condition

Signed VAN CLEEF & ARPELS, numbered 23704, French assay mark for 18 carat gold, inscribed Déposé. Lacquer overall in good condition, minor scratches, some loss to red enamel. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 155 grams.
