Set with a cabochon sapphire, the mount enhanced with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 53, signed VCA, numbered, French assay mark for gold and maker's mark.

Accompanied by a AGL report no. CS 63672 stating that the cabochon sapphire measuring approximately 14.80 x 12.1 x 7.15mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Signed VCA, numbered 24134, maker's mark for Vassort, 34 rue St- Etienne, 75001 Paris. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor abrasions. For more information on the sapphire please refer to AGL report. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and use. Gross weight approximately 11 grams.
