Description

Set with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 6.96 carats, the prongs highlighted with rose diamonds, framed with collet-set circular-cut, cushion-, and pear-shaped diamonds, supporting a circular-cut diamond drop, the reverse applied with a plaque signed G. Confalonieri Milano/Roma.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 98062, stating that the cushion-shaped emerald weighing 6.96 carats, measuring approximately 12.48 x 12.10 x 5.67mm, is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures. Signed G. CONFALONIERI MILANO ROMA. Emerald green of strong saturation, with good transparency, with typical inclusions, some surface-reaching, scratches, abrasions and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 13.00 - 15.00 carats, on average J-L colour, SI-I clarity, Included, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, sliding safety catch. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 19 grams.
