Description

  • Gold, diamonds and pearls
The front of foliate and fringe design, set throughout with circular-, single-cut and rose diamonds, supporting cultured pearls and diamond drops, on a later chain, length approximately 415mm.

Princess Marie von Hatzfeldt, (1820-1897) Her son Prince Hermann von Hatzfeldt (1848-1933) and his wife, Countess Nathalie von Beckendorff (1854-1931), formerly in Schloss Trachenberg (Silesia)

Condition

Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Cultured peals of slightly cream colour with rosé and green overtones, good lustre, few blemishes. For more information on the pearls please refer to SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 - 18.00 carats, on average I-J colour, SI-I clarity, included, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches and tarnish to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure with two safety catches. In overall good condition. Gross weight approximately 69 grams.
