Description

  • Sapphire, diamond, gold
Of cluster design, set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 7.94 carats, within a surround of brilliant-cut, marquise-, pear-shaped and oval diamonds, French assay marks for gold and maker's mark. 

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 98060, stating that the sapphire weighing 7.94 carats, measuring 12.53 x 9.79 x 7.64mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire blue of medium strong saturation. For more information on the sapphire please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 17.00 - 19.00 carats, on average H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Scratches to the metal consistent with light use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
