Description

The pendant, set with a carved bone on black enamel, depicting a mythological scene of a seated goddess with cupid, suspending seed pearl and blue enamel drop fringes, to the floral motif surmount and necklace decorated with blue and white enamel, seed pearls and collet-set diamonds, necklace length approximately 530mm, signed Cartier.

Condition

Accompanied by Cartier Certificate of Authenticity. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin. Signed Cartier New York. Metal stated as yellow gold in the Cartier Certificate of Authenticity. The bone carving is in good condition, some abrasions, traces of repair on the cupid with one side of the bow string carving missing commensurate with age. The seed pearls are in very good condition. Enamel on pendant with few chips commensurate with age, necklace enamel in very good condition. diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of wear to metal. Overall in very good condition.
