Description

Designed as a pavé-set brilliant-cut diamond panther with articulated paws and rotating head, highlighted with onyx spots and a cabochon emerald, completed by emerald eyes and onyx nose, mounted in platinum, size 6, signed Cartier, partially numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped Pt950 and French assay mark for platinum, Signed Cartier, partially numbered D581(?), French maker's mark, stamped 53 referring to the size of ring. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 6 - 7cts in total are bright and lively, as gauged and graded in the mount. Cabochon emerald estimated to weigh approximately 4 - 5cts are medium bluish green colour of medium saturation, under 10x magnification there are typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor blemishes but not quite noticeable with unaided eyes. Onyx in very good condition, with minor blemishes. Signs of normal wear on metal in consistent with use, overall in very good condition.
