Description

Set with twenty-seven oval and cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 36.56 carats in total, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 165mm.

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 18067101, dated 26 July 2018, stating that the sapphires are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating; also accompanied by twenty-seven GIA reports, stating that the diamonds ranging from 0.34 to 0.19 carat are all D Colour, VVS1 to VVS2 Clarity. Please refer to report for further details. Metal tested as white gold. Sapphires of medium dark blue of strong saturation, under 10x magnification, there are typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor chips and blemishes, but hardly noticeable when worn. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 8.50 - 9.00cts in total, are on average D - E Colour, mostly VVS - VS Clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor signs of wear on metal, overall very good condition.
