Description

  • Largest jadeite on brooch approximately 25.08 x 35.12 x 2.25mm; Largest jadeite on earrings approximately 14.23 x 16.91 x 4.02mm and 14.03 x 16.80 x 3.95mm.
The brooch, designed as an angelfish, embellished with various coloured jadeite, circular-cut diamonds of yellow tint, pink sapphires and green garnets; and a pair of  pendent earrings of similar design, each suspending an angelfish with magnetic mouth, pendent earrings can be detached and worn as two brooches, post and hinged back fittings. 

Condition

Accompanied by two Hong Kong Jade and Stone Laboratory certificates numbered SJ 171692 and SJ171691, both dated 12 July 2018, stating that the jadeites tested are natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to certificates for further details. Please note that diamonds of yellow tint are not tested for natural colour origin. Metal tested as 18 karat blackened gold for the brooch. The earrings stamped 18K for 18 karat yellow gold. Jadeite of russet colour is of very high translucency. Under strong illumination, even texture and a tiny streak of the same colour. Colourless jadeites of high translucency, a few minor white specks and surface abrasions under strong illumination, not noticeable when worn. Carved jadeites of emrald green colour of good to very good translucency, minor white clouds, green streaks and specks under strong illumination, not quite noticeable when worn. Lavender jadeites of light to medium light purple colour, typical white clouds and some surface abrasions upon strong illumination. Diamonds of yellow tint, green garnets and pink sapphires bright and lively.
