Description

Set with a cushion-shaped alexandrite weighing 7.76 carats, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, size 5¾.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report numbered 1089985, dated 26 January 2018, stating that the 7.76 carat Alexandrite is of Ceylon origin, with no clarity enhancements; AGL also stating that the alexandrite is Classic™ Ceylon. Further accompanied by GIA report no. 6187826622, dated 27 October 2017, stating that the 7.76 carat Alexandrite is Natural Alexandrite. Please refer to reports for further details. Stamped Pt950 and IRID.PLAT. for platinum mounting. Alexandrite displays a distinct colour change effect from dark green of moderate saturation in daylight to dark purple colour of moderate saturation in incandescent light, is loupe clean with minor abrasion on surface. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 3 - 4 carats in total are on average G - H colour, VS clarity. Minor wear to metal consistent with use. Overall in very good condition.
