Description

The first ring, set with a step-cut sapphire weighing approximately 13.52 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold, size 8¼; and the second ring, set with a highly translucent jadeite saddle-top of brilliant green colour, the gallery decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 7½.

Condition

Sapphire Ring: Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 18071086, dated 25 July 2018, stating that the sapphire shows indication of treatment. For further details, please refer to report. Stamped 750 for 18k white gold and 13.52 referring to the weight of the sapphire. Sapphire is medium dark blue of strong saturation, almost loupe clean, nicks and abrasions when examined under 10x magnification, hardly noticeable with naked eyes. Minor signs of wear to metal consistent with use, overall in very good condition. Jadeite and Diamond Ring: Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate no. SJ 173521, dated 14 August 2018, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". For further details, please refer to certificate. Jadeite saddle top is highly translucent and of brilliant green colour, showing typical inclusions, few fissures, some nearly surface reaching, under strong illumination, not seen in normal lighting. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.20-0.25 carats in total, are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to metal consistent with use. Overall in good condition.
