Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle use. When viewed in person, the color of the wood is softer and presents with a more golden tone. The frame presents with scattered minor scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches concentrated to the bases of the legs and edges of the armrests. The highly figured veneer with minor hairlines which is consistent with this materials. One of Aalto’s most iconic and timeless designs in a beautifully figured birch veneer.
