Condition

Overall in very good condition consistent with age and gentle handling. When viewed in person, the figure is a richer and more golden tone than the catalogue illustration. The figure with scattered rubbing, fine scratches and minor wear to the patina, all consistent with age. Minor and typical oxidation to the metal throughout. The base with minor chips and pin head nicks to the edges. One corner of the base with approximately 7 larger chips, the largest measuring 1/4 x 5/8 in. (6 mm x 1.5 cm). Another corner with a repair measuring approximately 3/8 x 2 x 1 3/4 in. (6 mm x 5 cm x 2 cm) and a loss 1/8 x 1/4 in. (3mm x 6mm). A dynamic and powerful form that presents very well overall.
