Condition

Overall in good original condition consistent with age and use. The wood surfaces appear to retain their original finish, with scattered surface scratches, edge abrasions, surface soiling and minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and use. The top of the desk, lower shelves and interior writing surfaces with surface stains from use, including ink and water stains. The proper right upper drawer with a few inscriptions. The proper rear right leg with a small loss to one edge which measures approximately 3/4 x 1/4 in. (2 x .5 cm) and a minor horizontal crack along the bottom edge which measures approximately 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm) which exhibits minor movement and should be stabilised. The patinated metal elements with scattered rubbing and minor oxidation consistent with age and use. A classic and elegant shape by Stickley in original condition.
