Condition

The terracotta is sound. Examination under UV light reveals a small spot of restoration approx. 0.5cm in diameter to the centre of the figure's torso and there are some additional spots of restoration visible to the reverse and to the proper right side of the figure, the largest of which is approx. 2cm long. There is a small hole in the terracotta surface, possibly inherent, at the top of the figure's head, and there are some small chips in places to the edges. There are some natural firing cracks and there is some surface dirt and residue in places. Overall, this work is in fairly good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
