Condition

The canvasboard is laid down on a stretched canvas. Examination under UV light reveals scattered spots of retouching predominantly along the lower and upper edges and to all four corners. There is one line of retouching measuring approx 10cm. running vertically from the lower edge, just to the right of the signature. There are artist's pinholes in all four corners and at the centre of each edge. There is some minor lifting to the pigment in the lower left corner. This work is in stable condition.
