Condition

This work is very good condition. The board is sound but undulates slightly in the upper center and lower center of the composition. The undulation is most likely inherent to the board. The impasto is well preserved and the colors are bright and fresh. There are two areas of frame abrasion and subsequent losses on the lower right and lower left hand corners of the painting which are not visible when the work is in its frame. Under UV light: there is one possible stroke of inpainting in the sky but otherwise, fine.
