Executed on cream coloured tracing paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount at both upper corners of the verso. The upper edge is slightly unevenly cut.The sheet is very slightly time-stained around the extreme edges and is undulating throughout consistent with the materials used. Some pigments in the water of the composition appear slightly faded, whereas elsewhere in the composition, especially in the foreground, they are extremely bright and fresh.
