Condition

CASE The case is unique and attractive with eccentric lugs. Case back is inscribed "NORRLANDS POSTEN TACKAR GÖSTA HELLKVIST FÖR MÅNGÅRIG TJÄNST 1920-1943." Case overall with wear, scuffs, and scratches consistent with age and use. Lugs with some very small nicks. Case overall may benefit from cleaning. Crystal glazing with some scuffing and a more prominent scratch toward the center. DIAL Dial with oxidation and surface spots throughout. Oxidation to the hands. MOVEMENT The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The movement is operating but may require regular service at the purchaser's discretion.
