Catalogue Note

The present watch is a Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675, and it has a dial known as either the Mark 1 or “Long E”. Such dials were the earliest matte dial versions that were recognised by Rolex connoisseurs. The name also suggests the dial can be identified by the long E in the middle horizontal bar of the word Rolex. Such variations of the dial are normally spotted with case numbers from approximately 1.6m to 1.9m. In addition to the early and rare dial, the watch is accompanied with its original rating certificate, guarantee and invoice.
