Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing, the date functions are working properly. The dial is attractive with a very warm patina throughout and has aged a warm chocolate brown throughout. The bezel insert with minor signs of wear at 5. The band with minor surface wear visible to the naked eye. Underneath the lugs with minor surface wear from removing the bracelet. The case with minor signs of polishing. The case back with minor surface wear throughout the center. The case back is engraved "1680". The bracelet with minor signs of wear throughout, the end links is stamped "580, 93150" and the folding clasp is stamped "78360". * Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note

This tropical red Submariner is a lovely example. The dial has turned a very even chocolate brown throughout and the lumes have aged a very nice yellow.
