Catalogue Note

Reference 5508, manufactured in late 1961 and throughout 1962 can be distinguished by their exclamation mark at 6 o’clock on the dial. It is also typical for the lumes to age a more overall ivory tone. This 5508 can also be distinguished by its ghost bezel, which is a term given to an insert that is highly faded. The case is also very crisp with the bevel still easy to see towards the edges.
