Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The cloisonné enamel dial is nice and intact, depicting very vibrant colours. The watch is in excellent overall condition with only extremely minor signs of wear, hardly visible with the naked eye. The buckle is in excellent overall condition with extremely minor signs of wear only. * Please note that the movement has not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note

The present watch, cased in platinum, features a polychrome cloisonné enamel dial depicting the Golden Hind, which is famous for sailing the world from 1577 through 1580 under the command of Sir Francis Drake. In the Golden Hind, Drake became the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe in an epic expedition of plunder and discovery. The present watch is numbered 5 of a limited edition of 5 pieces only. The watch is offered in excellent overall condition with the dial showcasing bright colours.
