Catalogue Note

The present watch is not just any regular Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar. It is a special edition released at the SIHH in Hong Kong limited to only 15 pieces. This is the second time the German manufacturer has extended the term “Handwerkskunst”, which translates into craftsmanship. The market first became familiar with this term when Lange first released the Zeitwerk Handwerkskunst in 2012. Collectors first take note of the lavishly decorated solid white gold dial that uses a combination technique of tremblage and relief engraving to achieve such an extraordinary visual result. Furthermore, the sapphire crystal display back reveals extremely delicate engravings and complexities on the movement showcasing the tourbillon intermediate wheel-cocks and the winding rotor.
